Merry Christmas and the Meaning of Love....

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!

Today is Christmas Day, the most special day of the year and it has been a WONDERFUL day!! Our precious girl turned 10 weeks old today-- just can't believe it!!! It is so fun being a parent on Christmas there is no doubt, although Sweetness and I did not play Santa this year, she really does not know any different at this point, we can't wait for it next year when she can play and will be walking and playing with her presents!!!
The picture above is Chloe this morning in her Santa baby outfit that grandma gave her today. Man I wish she could wear this outfit more than she will get to wear it, but mom said at $2.69 at Macy's she couldn't pass it up even though she knew she would only wear it once. LOL!!

Anyway the purpose of this post is to post a beautiful poem about adoption that I found that I wanted to post on Christmas in honor of L, Chloe's birth mom and in honor of my good friend Tammy whose miracle baby she has been waiting 8 years for was born on Dec. 20th whom she is adopting also. Her named is Hannah Dawn and she is coming home to Wisconsin to be loved more than anyone could ever love a baby, just in time for Christmas- another Christmas Miracle.
So in honor of Chloe and Hannah, here it is.....

Once there were two women who never knew each other
One you do not remember, the other you call Mother

Two different lives shaped to make you one

One became your guiding star, the other became your sun

The first one gave you life, and the second taught you to live it

The first gave you a need for love, the second was there to give it

One gave you a nationality, the other gave you a name

One gave you a talent, the other gave you aim

One gave you emotions, the other calmed your fears

One saw your first sweet smile, the other dried your tears

One made an adoption plan, that was all that she could do

The other prayed for a child, and God led her straight to you.

Now, which of these two women are you the product of?

Both, my darling, both, just two different types of love.

This moves me to sobs every time I read it, because it is so true for me except the first line because I do know Chloe's birth mom. But wow what a legacy, wow what a thought, two women's lives so unbelievably intertwined for eternity, and I am so very grateful and merry on this Christmas night!!! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!!
